Just got around to watching Live Free or Die Hard.

Good fun.

Bruce Willis as John McClane is teh cool!

The movie stretched the boundaries of reality even for a Die Hard flick, but who the hell cares?

There should be a new Die Hard movie every year until Willis is in adult diapers.

He's pretty much Batman at this point. I love it.

Did you watch the unrated edition? or the PG-13 theatrical version?

The Unrated version.

Aside from a fuck or two, is there any real difference?

John McClane has hair, dammit.

I saw the 10-minute "preview" that was floating around the net for a while, and was unimpressed. Plus, I found the CGI distracting.

What I loved most when I saw this during the summer was the visceral thrill of seeing flesh-and-blood people pounding the crap out of each other. A marked contrast from the CG robots, CGI Surfers, and CGI Spider-Men we were otherwise treated to every week.

Live Free or Die Hard was my favorite movie this year, and that's what makes Bruce Willis "that guy".

Bruce is one of my favorite actors. Think he's great even though he's done a lot of bad stuff.

Live Free or Die Hard wasn't bad, but there's a part of me that wishes it wasn't a Die Hard flick, but just an action movie starring Willis. That John McClane seemed a far cry away from the one in the original Die Hard, which is one of my favorite movies of all time. He was just doing so much crazy stuff nonchalantly in LFODH.

I liked the movie, but was a little sad about that. Plus that Mac Kid annoys me.

I haven't gotten around to watching the Unrated version yet. I will probably get to it over the Thanksgiving holiday. I'm not sure what changes there are between the PG-13 and unrated edition are. I know it was shot as an R rated movie and then cut down to PG-13, so I bet there isn't much difference. Probably more violence and cursing.

The reviews I looked at said there was a little more blood and a little more language.

Otherwise, same flick.

Does he say "yipee kay-ay motherfucker" without it being cut off is the real question. If he does, then I'll watch.

There is not enough nudity in today's movies.
