Does anyone know what the shipping schedule was for the Silver-Age Marvel titles?

I know that Linda knows. She is out of comms for the nonce, however. Thank you for your continued patience while your call is being transferred....

Well, I figured that if nobody else knew, then Linda most certainly would. Hope she's okay.

The only tidbit I remember from those days is the ironic fact that National Perodicals (DC Comics) was Marvel's distrubutor <sp> in the early 60's and because of that, they limited Marvel to 8 books on the stands at a time...that is why they yanked the Hulk after a couple of issues..they couldn't afford to waste the slot.

This might be of some help, Frank. It's not an exact week by week shipping schedule, but it does show the shipments grouped by month at least.

http://www.samcci.comics.org/grid.htm

(During that era, new comics came out on Tuesday and Thursday every week.)

And some more information on Marvel's silver age line ~ this is probably too in-depth for your purposes, but some scheduling info is sprinkled amongst the reviews:

Yet more info:
