According to the http://www.thedigitalbits.com/ there are some audio mix problems with the Star Wars New Hope DVD.

Lucasfilms sent them a response saying that everything is as it's supposed to be.

I'm going to wait a while to see if enough people complain and Lucasfilms changes their tune.

Well, I ventured into Wal-Mart today during lunch to pick up a copy of The Trilogy... only $38 and change, the cheapest price around.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to pop in "Star Wars" tonight... I don't expect the sound issues to be a problem for me, but I'll report back anyways.
