All-new characters, I'm assuming? I don't recognize anyone.

Many of them are Golden Age superheroes that are now in the public domain. Black Terror, American Crusader, and the Golden Age Daredevil, for example.

Well by the time it comes out, I'll have dropped a few books anyway. Looks like fun.

Weren't a lot of these same characters in Alan Moore's Terra Obscura?

0 was damn good. Too bad the same artist won't be doing the rest of the series, though.

Go get the new one for a buck.

The team of Kruger/Ross has fully earned my trust with their unbelievably good Justice series. I just got all three hardcovers a few weeks ago and have been blown away. Other than the cartoon, my favorite JLA ever.

The first issue (#0) was decent.

So far, I prefer The Twelve... if we're speaking about Golden Age heroes who disappeared near the end of WWII and mysteriously come back in present day.

Roy Thomas claims that is where Stan got the Daredevil name from.

Since I just read that last night, I'm going to say at the least the Black Terror was.

Yeah, the Black Terror seems to be a popular guy.

So, I read this, and it was interesting. I'll definitely get the next issue.

Ghost, who's going to be the new artist?

They all were. These are the Nedor heroes, and anybody who wants to do a comic about them, can, as they are all in the public domain.

http://newsarama.com/public.html

The only catch seems to be that, if you were to do a new comic featuring them, you can't reference anyone else's interpretation of them in your work.

Planning on revamping with Warren Ellis, does this interest anyone?

I'm interested in a revamp, but not at the hand of Warren Ellis.

I'm interested in a revamp BECAUSE of Warren Ellis. Rarely read a comic by him that I haven't liked, and I think he's pretty great when it comes to reinventing characters (he mad X-Man a cool character...X-MAN).
