Just looked at the submission guidelines where ti says only the alien races are left. Either this is untrue or their search function isn't working that well because I looked up some names that came up blank. I guess maybe they're reserved.

Another favorite here, the redesign of the Champion:  The other Elders look good too. Is the Gardener supposed to be that big, though?

I never read the comic(s) but the Champion once took a bunch of Earth's heroes to fight him in the ring. If no one defeated him he would destroy Earth (I think). All the heroes were defeated or disqualified except the Thing who took a pounding (suffering broken bones and such) but kept on coming. This garnered the Champion's respect, so he spared Earth.
