Sweet! Glad the dvd has that excellent Brit Awards performance from 2009 on it as well.

I got my copy today at 'Rama. It's manufactured in the EU--looks like another case of EMI sending over European stock instead of getting a regular US release.

The DVD is rated E (exempt from classification), so it should play on US DVD machines.

I see the version Amazon USA is selling is the import thats PAL region 0. Not sure if that will play in all DVD players. My Denon does PAL but my PS3 doesn't.

Big shout-out to Jimbo who procured me a copy of this CD/DVD package when we met for lunch today.
The packaging does say NTSC, so we should be good to go. I love The Pet Shop Boys and finally got to see them live 2 years ago at Radio City Music Hall.

It's been released domestically by Astralwerks now. Is this the one you have, John?

The one Jimbo got me is the UK version on Parlophone. It is NTSC Region 0. The American version is on Astralwerks.

I ordered the CD/DVD from Amazon, which was listed as an Astralwerks release. What I got was the European Parlophone with an NTSC DVD. So it looks like Astralwerks (which is really a part of EMI here) is just importing the UK discs. I imagine the UK issues are all NTSC instead of PAL since NTSC will play on most PAL DVD players in Europe without all the silly code changing routines we have to go through here to make certain players universal.
