Add a era appropriate concert DVD, and away you go.
I'm not sure I'll get this - I've already acquired this album 5 different times (3 cassettes, 2 CD's), so they'll have to impress me to pony up for it again.

I went the other direction: At one time I was catalog; but they aged terribly for me, so now I'm greatest hits; which is all I'll ever need (& I can't remember the last time I played it). I really like Sweet Child, Paradise City, Welcome To the Jungle, Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Civil War &................................ That's All Folks!

Lots of rumors flying around about this. I don't think the $180 version is the super deluxe version. There will be a version with 4 CDs, a Blu Ray (5.1 mixes), 7 vinyl LPs that comes in a wooden and leather cabinet with a whole ton of extras (makes the Floyd immersion sets look like basically nothing). 96 page hardback book, rings, buttons, patches, lithos, old flyer and ticket reproductions, posters, etc, etc, etc. Rumored price for that version is $650.
Edit/Update: There had been an official "reveal" video of this posted on YouTube which got pulled almost immediately. But it was captured and now fans are putting up their own commentary videos regarding it.
The remastered and expanded "Locked N' Loaded" reissue will include 73 songs (49 of which are previously unreleased) spread out across four CDs and seven 12-inch 180-gram LPs. In addition to a remastered version of the original album (presented across two LPs), there will be the band's 1986 "Live ?!*@ Like A Suicide" EP, a second EP containing B-sides from the era, 25 previously unreleased recordings from the band's 1986 sessions at Sound City studios, and two previously unreleased tracks from GN'R's sessions with producer Mike Clink.
The fifth disc is a Blu-ray featuring a new 5.1 surround mix of the Appetite album.

Bump: More editions have become available. So far we have the 4-disc box I posted yesterday, plus a 2CD Deluxe Edition and a 1CD remaster of the original album. I've added pre-order links to the opening post.

I'll get this. Appetite is the only GnR disc anyone needs. Damn good album from start to finish.
Agreed with the second bit, but you could put together a pretty good album with the good tracks from the two Use Your Illusion albums.
I was mildly disappointed in the Illusion albums. That's probably because once you release a killer album, everything that follows is subpar (Boston comes to mind). That said, the Illusion albums are good. I agree.... take the best tracks of them and make one disc.

Geffen tried that but failed.
We would do a better job.

I thought I read somewhere that a one disc illusion CD had been issued....or that a limited edition version got out there.
