Speak & Spell is a remarkable debut album that put Depeche Mode on the world stage. Propelled by the #11 UK single "New Life" and by the international hit "Just Can't Get Enough" the album positioned Depeche Mode as one of the most interesting of the emerging electronic music artists.

Released in August 1983, Construction Time Again is the third studio album from Depeche Mode. This was the band's first album to feature Alan Wilder as a member and contains the hits "Everything Counts" and "Love, In Itself." This was an important release in the band's discography which significantly advanced the band's sound and vision.

Black Celebration is the fifth studio album by Depeche Mode, released in 1986. A pivotal release in the band's canon, this album advanced Depeche Mode's musical mission, moving their sound from industrial pop into darker, atmospheric and emotional territory. The album features the iconic singles "Stripped," "A Question of Lust" and "A Question of Time." Following its release, Black Celebration became the group's then-highest charting album in both the UK and Germany, expanding their influence across pop culture.
