I've never heard this band, though I've heard of them.

I'm currently preparing my businesses' next liquidation list. I have 2 copies of Wounded Bird's reissue of The Asylum Recordings Volume 2. Is this something I'd likely enjoy if I kept a copy for myself (They're sealed)?

Ok, play them before you sell them Geff. Jay Ferguson of "Spirit", one of your fave bands is the leader here and they made four for Asylum. I personally like all four, the second and third are my two faves even though most people would say their first release may have been their best.

I've only heard JF with Spirit. Never heard him solo or with Gunne.

That is cheap. It also explains why I've only sold 3 of the Wounded Birds.

ferguson's solo works are good too, a couple are quite easy to come by and a couple are quite expensive and very hard to find.

Thx! Funny, I'm close to 100% catalog on Randy California & post original band Spirit; but haven't followed Ferguson at all.

much different than randy california, really no comparison whatsoever. ferguson is more pop oriented, with 'thunder island' probably his premiere solo album.

the closest he comes to california is 'white noise', surely his heaviest album, and one of those that is very hard to get along with 'terms and conditions".
