The City of Cleveland will celebrate Michael Stanley Day on March 25, which would have been the rocker's 73rd birthday. To celebrate, fans can visit linelevelmusic.com starting at 10:35 a.m. to stream two new, original songs that will be featured on Stanley's upcoming, posthumous studio album, Tough Room.(Longtime fans will recognize the importance of 10:35 from the opening lines of the Michael Stanley Band hit 'In the Heartland.') Fans can also preorder the album that day. It will feature 14 new tracks that Stanley recorded in the months before his death. The album was produced by Michael Stanley featuring members of The Resonators and mixed by longtime friend and executive producer Bill Szymczyk.

Based on his release history of the past decade or so, the CD might go in general release later, or never. So for now I've moved this to Collector's Corner, and we will watch.

Sad news about the loss of this great musician, I will grab a copy ASAP. I see Line Level no longer ships internationally but his last couple trickled out to some of the "big boys" so I hope this holds true for this one as well.

I listened to the two new tracks and they sound very good.

Michael Stanley and the MSB were criminally underrated...this album will be awesome and a fitting reminder of what great music Michael left us...RIP...

lots of he stuff is sold out on that site, and i've no idea if they will re-stock or just let it all go, linda might be right, 'tough room' may never end up on amazon, or any other merchandiser for that matter, if they sell out at line level.

I asked via email and they might be releasing it to some other sellers but due is unknown at this point. They did not specify who but I assume it is the same ones that have carried his most recent product.
