It's day two! Several on the list that I'm interested in. The Who "It's Hard" and Slash "Live" will be no-brainers for me, but there are a few other records I want to check out - Halestorm, Prince, a TV themes album, Dio, Peter Gabriel, and a Billy Gibbons CD box set (for "Hardware").

I'd like the Prince and the Billy Gibbons CD, and I'm sure they'll be gone quickly, but I'm not up to going out today and facing crowds. I'll just go sometime over the next few weeks and see what's left. I've found virtually all my wanted titles once the frenzy dies down.

No sign of the Billy Gibbons where I went. May grab it online. (Same happened w/the Hammet CD on RSD - never did order it yet.)
I passed on Peter Gabriel (for now), Halestorm, and the Dio.
But I did grab the Who, Prince, and Slash. Needed the second store for the Who, but I got it.

From all the posts I'm seeing online, it almost feels like The Gold Experience sold more copies this weekend than when it was originally released!

Actually went and waited in line for this one. I was 25 of 30 or so in line. Nicely organized, line went quickly and smoothly, met some nice folks, and partook of free donuts and coffee. Snagged the new Miles Davis release and a coupla non-RSD LPs (and the Freddie Hubbard RSD vinyl later on line). Happy with myself, on a whim I dropped by Goodwill to see what I could see. Walked out with two classical LPs that I'll net at least $100 each on; cost me ¢.79 each. Got home and the new Fripp boxed set was waiting for me on the porch. All in all, a fine day.
