Received the first...Ouvrez le Chien...have listened a couple times and likely again this afternoon. I am hoping there will be something from the Earthling tour. Took 30 days to arrive since shipped, but now I have it.

I received No Trendy Rechauffe - another fine offering. Since I received, I checked out the bowie site, and saw that the third of the series - from the Earthling tour - is available for pre-order. That title is LIVEANDWELL.COM. When I saw Bowie on this tour at the Aragon Brawlroom in Chicago - one of the best concerts for a number of reasons - I had been waiting for something from the tour. This is great but not outstanding, from standpoint it is a single disc versus a whole show, but looking forward. Disappointed not including the solo acoustic of Quicksand that he opened with. Mesmerizing.

I really LOVE the first two. They've exceeded my expectations. The live versions of the OUTSIDE tracks are tremendous. I've also pre-ordered the 3rd one.

Head's up. While I await the arrival of the third release, the fourth is available. It is from the Earthling Tour, is TWO Discs, and includes the Quicksand opener (not the same show I saw on the tour, but that opening number is seared in my brain). It appears the vinyl is sold out, but there was still CD's (not at the David Bowie site - sold out - but the Dig Store. Called Look at the Moon! CD1:
Quicksand The Man Who Sold the World Driftin’ Blues/The Jean Genie I'm Afraid of Americans Battle for Britain (The Letter) Fashion Seven Years in Tibet Fame Looking for Satellites Under Pressure
CD2:
The Hearts Filthy Lesson Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) Hallo Spaceboy Little Wonder Dead Man Walking White Light/White Heat O Superman Stay

The 5th in the Series is available for pre-order now. They sell out quickly, particularly vinyl. Received the 4th in the series yesterday.

I ordered the new Paris one when it went live at about 2AM Pacific time. Seems it was gone pretty soon after. Glad I got them all, but I was never able to snag the special case for them. Not really a fan of how this was handled, but the discs are great.

At least for the CD version.

Another night stuck at the computer for me, I guess.

I have found that sometimes one store will be out the other will have them. Sorry but I got Bitchslapped when I shared info - without a link mind you - to save substantially on a box set of interest recently.

Nice set list. If I remember right, the A&E tv special was similar.

oh well. I thought I had them figured out. It seemed they would announce near end of month (had been case last two go arounds). Anyway, the six and final in the series "David Bowie At The Kit Kat Klub (Live New York 99)" was set for pre-sale on the 19th and is gone baby gone. Looks like it was sold out within less than a day. Getting 5/6 is better than nothing. The set list of this release from the previous 99 show is that this one includes "Stay" and "I'm Afraid of Americans", all the other songs are on previous release.
At least I was not too worked up about getting the cardboard box that can be traded for kidneys.
I am all for limited releases, but I heard the numbers may have been only 6.000 for CDs and 4,000 vinyls or vice versa. For someone of Bowie's stature, seems a little on the low side. Could have tripled or more and likely sold out, and would have been appropriate to scale. Yes they were over priced for what they were (but I never complained), and at least one was a double (and from the Earthling Tour which was the best concert I have seen (as an overall set and setting)). IMO this was something that could have easily benefitted from a subscription a'la Dave's Picks.
I suspect they will see the error in their ways (or the calculated error) and do another release of them in the future.

I managed to get the first 5 and the CD box, but I wasn't able to get online for the final one (Kit Kat Club). I ordered one from an Ebay seller but his own order was canceled by the Bowie site. Now, I wait.

WTF? No announcement? I’ve been checking the Rhino site every couple of days, and there was nothing about this that I saw.

We are aware that a number of fans have had a poor shopping experience during the ‘Brilliant Live Adventures’ campaign, and for that we are very sorry. We also recognise that, due to the unexpected demand, unfortunately many of you have been unable to purchase certain titles and subsequently missed out on the opportunity to complete their collection.
In the coming weeks we will provide you with further details of how and when we will be making these titles available to you again.
Once again, we apologise and thank you for your patience and continued support.

#DBBLA #BrilliantLiveAdventures This is good news, and a somewhat appropriate response. Not sure which of the three sources it was (Rhino, Dig, or the Bowie site), but one of them was reportedly allowing users to purchase up to 10 copies. Wonder how they ended up getting flipped.

They are going to make these available again. There is a site to register interest - I'm assuming this is not going to be a deal where if you don't register, you can't order, but I don't know that for sure. https://bla.davidbowie.com
