MUSCLE OF LOVE saw the band double down on their rock ‘n’ roll roots, delivering an uncompromising body of work buoyed by impeccable playing, massive hooks, and good old-fashioned Detroit grit. Produced by Jack Richardson and Jack Douglas, it cracked the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 and scored a Gold certification from the RIAA. This uncompromising body of work includes the famed title track “Muscle of Love” as well as “Teenage Lament ’74,” “Big Apple Dreamin’ (Hippo),” and “Hard Hearted Alice.” It would also be the final album recorded by the original band, and they definitely went out with a bang, to say the least.

Is the 2CD edition a Rhino exclusive as well? I can't find it on Amazon, but it wouldn't be the first time that an Amazon listing somehow failed to pop up for me via their search engine.
That said, the CD version appears to be available now..

It looks like it is, I guess I should've posted this thread in Collector's Corner. It never occurred to me that they would limit this release to their shop. I assumed there would be a wide release of the CD and a different color LP release. I don't like that Rhino has had a few web-store exclusives of late. There was a Lowell George era Little Feat live CD earlier this year that I had to order from them. https://www.discogs.com/release/3099994 ... Rainbow-75
It's a totally different market now for physical releases. Things are often limited to one pressing, particularly on CD, even when that information is not announced. If you want something, order it immediately.

I got my 2CD+blu-ray set from Rhino earlier this week. The packaging is really nice with the cardboard outer box, three inner sleeves and a detailed booklet. I haven't played the CDs yet but thoroughly enjoyed the quad mix of the album on the blu-ray. I can't imagine this will remain a Rhino exclusive but I didn't want to wait to find out. I hope they do similar releases for more of Alice's albums (both the original group and solo).
