i saw the byrds/buffalo springfield/monterrey record store vinyl, and it was very nice.......why no CD?

Picked up the Doors at a local. Ordered the Garbage online (once again, didn't get a whiff of this one).
Also didn't see Kacey Musgraves, which was on my list, but because it's RSD First, I'm not overly worried about it. Hoping for a CD version, to be honest.
Saw and passed (for now) on the Steve Martin picture disc and the Van Halen live disc. I have the VH on CD in the For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge set. I did watch the video to check the quality, and it sounds really good to me.

I never wake up to go to RSD but I did order my Cat Stevens and Yes vinyl RSD releases online.
