Billy was an only child.

His Mommy and Daddy loved him very much.

Billy loved the toys his Mommy and Daddy bought him.

But his favourite toy of all was Joe the action man, Billy took Joe everywhere and they had lots and lots of adventures.

One day Billy was playing with Joe in the garden, when Joe jumped up a tree, and when he came back down something terrible happened...

Joe's head fell off!

Billy told Mommy, who told Daddy, who tried to put Joe's head back on, but it was no use! Poor Joe was broken!

Billy was sad about it because Joe was his favourite toy, and although he had lots of others to play with, he missed Joe very very much.

But Billy was a good boy and when he wasn't playing with his other toys he was helping Mommy and Daddy paint the room he had when he was a little baby.

Mommy told Billy how very soon he would have a brother or sister that would see him as a super hero just like Joe was to him, except Billy's head wouldn't break!

Billy liked the idea of being like Joe so he practiced his good super hero skills by helping Mommy and Daddy prepare for the baby.

After they had prepared enough, Mommy went to the hospital. Nanny and Grandad looked after Billy while Mommy and Daddy was busy.

Soon Mommy came home with a little baby brother for Billy!

"say hello to Billy!" said Mommy, "he's going to be your big brother and your super hero"

Billy showed his new little baby brother Joe and said "but my head won't fall off!"

Very cute! Here's wishing Billy a long and happy life of keeping his head on his shoulders!
