For the life of me, I can't understand why they stopped doing Elseworlds. Their best sellers and most acclaimed books -- Watchmen, Dark Knight Returns, Red Son, New Frontier, etc. -- are all outside of the normal DCU.

I don't get it.

For years, they were the only DC comics - in fact, the only superhero comics by any company - that I was regularly reading. Now it feels to me as if the whole DCU is an ever-changing Elseworlds story of some description. Oh, well.

I'm glad this is coming out! I had ordered this a long time ago on Amazon, but they pulled it. I get all the Elseworld collections because I love them and I want to send a message to DC that we need this line again!

Oh how I would love to see two more Roger Stern Elseworld stories. It makes me warm to think that there is an Elseworld out there where those stories have been printed.
