I've never bought an Omnibus because they look too heavy to comfortably read. Those are tempting, though.

You'd think so, but they really aren't. Most of them open nicely and lay flat for reading. The only one I've had trouble with is the MASSIVE "Colossal Conan" one from Dark Horse. It really is just too big. :)

You have to be careful when first opening a new hardcover book ... especially a big, thick one ...
