Someone asked about a certain CPL fanzine over at the Byrne forum and it was moved to the Buy Sell page where no one will ever find it, so I figured I would bring it to your attention, since you are the subject matter expert on CPL.

As I recall, Bob Layton had found an address for Toth, so we sent him a complimentary copy of CPL. He liked it enough to offer drawing us a cover. And since we weren't complete idiots, we said, "yes."

Speaking of CPL, I saw Roger at a small show in Indianapolis yesterday and he culled five issues of CPL from his files for me. One issue, #5 from 1973, with a Neal Adams Doc Savage cover, still has Bob Layton's back issue price list inside. Amazing Fantasy #15 could be yours for $20, Amazing Spider-Man 1 for $25, Avengers #1 for $10, and X-Men #1 for $9!
