Also want to point out that Amazon seem to have fairly decent price sets on some boxes currently. The Kiss Destroyer ($130) and Creatures of the Night ($200) are at the lowest prices I can remember seeing them, and the Guns n' Roses Use Your Illusion big box is 35% off ($168). None of these hit my price point, but people who have been waiting on a particular box set or two should check out the current prices.

I just hope Amazon gets the Animals box to me in good condition. I have been pretty disappointed with some of their recent packaging non-efforts.

Hats off to Amazon. It arrived today in a large, oversized box and at first I was "oh no," because when I picked it up I could tell there was no packing material and the box was just floating freely in there. But Amazon did not unpack it from the box the manufacturer had put it in, so even though it was floating around, that second box took the beating and the Animals set was in perfect condition when I got it out of that second box. I thought this would be in a box, but it's actually an earbook (gatefold) type package. Happy to say all the optical disks in the set are completely scratch free and I looked at the vinyl and the surface seemed to be good with no significant warping. Big fans of vinyl probably won't be happy because it comes in a paper sleeve instead of a poly-lined type sleeve (stop your whining and just get an anti-static gun!).

Overall, very happy with the job Amazon did getting this to me in perfect condition.
