According to the new Goldmine, Randy Bachman and Fred Turner are recording a new album and will begin a world tour in June!

Product Description
Bachman & Turner — "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet" again! The men who recorded the song that was #1 in both Billboard and album charts are releasing their first album together in 20 years!

Bachman & Turner have written and recorded many classic number one songs, and have had at least 6 or more in the top 50. They have sold in excess of 25 million albums worldwide, with 4 platinum albums and 6 gold albums to date. "Takin' Care Of Business" is #10 in the top 100 most covered songs in the U.S. as reported by Guitar Magazine.

Randy Bachman has reunited with Fred Turner to record a new album that is a hair raising, fist pumping road trip across a landscape of mountain sized guitars, thunder laden drums and full throttle vocals.

"Takin' Care Of Business", "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet", "Let It Ride", "Sledgehammer", "Hey You", Blue Collar", "Not Fragile", "Four Wheel Drive", "Looking Out For #1" and "My Wheels Won't Turn" are just a few of the classic rock anthems written and recorded by Bachman & Turner.

1. Rollin' Along
2. That's What It Is
3. Moonlight Rider
4. Find Some Love
5. Slave To The Rhythm
6. Waiting Game
7. I've Seen The Light
8. Can't Go Back To Memphis
9. Rock 'N' Roll Is The Only Way Out
10. Neutral Zone
11. Traffic Jam
12. Repo Man

I'd go!

Another quick plug for Jukebox by Bachman and Cummings, issued in Canada in 2007. The best covers album I've heard in a long time. They have excellent taste in oldies and stamp their own mark on each song.

That has to be one of the most hideous album covers ever! An homage to Sly Stallone's "Over The Top"?

re the op: Is it just the 2 of them, or the entire original band? I really liked the 1st 2 BTO albums, but always felt they went way downhill after BTO 2.

Goldmine only mentioned Randy and Fred, but didn't say anything about who might be joining them.

I haven't checked if they are playing in Denmark, I could be lucky. They were very popular in Denmark in the mid-70's.

BTO issued a live album recorded in Japan and only released there in 1977. I've never even seen a copy of the LP, and I'm sure it's never been reissued on CD.

There were several like that in the days of vinyl. I owned exclusive live in Japan LP's from Wishbone Ash & Janis Ian. Unfortunately sold both in days of no $'s.

Ouch, the Wishbone Ash is on ebay from $50-$130. There's an Aussie copy of the Ian for $11, but they want $22 shipping.

BTO's Tim Bachman charged with sex offences

Print E–mail Share ThisReport Error ABBOTSFORD, B.C. -- A founding member of the 1970s rock band Bachman-Turner Overdrive is facing sex-related charges after a string of alleged incidents with a minor.

Tim Bachman, who lives and works near Vancouver, is accused of offences between 2000 and 2004, starting when a girl was 11 years old.

The Abbotsford, B.C., man, 58, is charged with sexual interference with a person under 14, touching a young person for sexual purpose and sexual assault.

Bachman turned himself over to police in early May, a few days after charges were sworn. His lawyer made a first appearance in court on his behalf on Monday.

The investigation began after the girl came forward in March 2009, with police recommending charges a year later, said Abbotsford Police Const. Ian MacDonald.

"When youth or children are victimized, there are a lot of factors that go into disclosing," MacDonald said.

"It takes an act of courage to come forward."

MacDonald said the victim was known to Bachman, but couldn't say more to protect her identity.

Police initially recommended charges of sexual exploitation.

Bachman, who played guitar for the band and now works as a realtor, makes his first court appearance on July 5.

Bachman-Turner Overdrive is known for the hit songs You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet and Takin' Care of Business.

His brother wouldnt have been on the tour since he along with Blair Thornton has sued them from using the name or initails BTO.

Crazy aint it?
First Randy and Burton cant use the name "The Guess Who" and now he cant use "Bachman Turner Overdrive" either.

Yes, it's ludicrous, and a shame.

Maybe he still controls the names Brave Belt and Ironhorse
