"Johnny Storm" sure does seem to have a BO problem, judging by that pic.

The Torch not having blond hair is the only thing that really bugs me about this pic. I didn't know which was Johnny Storm and which was Reed Richards at first. I thought the smoke was coming from Ben's hand ~ you know, from one of his cigars! The biggest concentration of smoke is right by his fist.

Johnny is smokier in this pic I lightened.

I really think the Thing should have more of a George Perez/John Byrne style brow...and I agree that Johnny and Reed look too much alike.

If you didn't know much about the FF, would that pic make you think he can burst into flames? I'm just wondering why they didn't do something more obvious, like showing him with one hand on fire.

I really hope the movie will be good, despite some of these images that have come out (Ben's body looks ok, for example, but his face is all wrong). The Fantastic Four are one of my favourite super hero teams and I would really like the movie would do them justice.

Having only recently watched the Incredibles (twice! ), I'm still filled with a sense of wonder that I haven't felt in a very long time (no, not even with Sky Captain). As many of you have said before, it made me feel like when I was a kid. Here's hoping I get that feeling with this movie.

Johnny looks like he's steaming not smoking. Like a football player at Lambeau Field steams after he's run a big play in freezing conditions. Overall I don't hold out much hope for this film.

I LOVE Michael Chiklis...and I LOVE the Thing...but....I'm not loving Michael Chiklis as the Thing.

Mind you - I'm not a comics aficionado - but thats my opinion and I'm sticking to it!

For one very good reason. In the new FF movie he CAN'T "Flame On!"

He can control fire and shoot flames from his hands, but every source I've checked says no full-body flames and no flying.

Seriously? He just "steams a little"???

I think that may be the movie, not Johnny.

But Johnny will be more like Pyro in the X-Men movie except that he can generate his own flames to manipulate.

Wow, how "been there, done that" of them to do that to The Human Torch.

This film is going to suck.

Pure apocrypha. Have you not seen the leaked internal Fox trailer? He definitely does a full-body flame-on in that, and the actor describes Johnny as being able to "Burst into flames and to fly."
