How the heck did Starman appear in an issue of Quasar?

I'm really not sure why Gruenie stuck Starman in there.

But I am sure he didn't know that -- by the time QUASAR #14 saw print, around the summer of 1990 -- I was no longer reading any Marvel Comics. It wasn't until sometime in 2000 that I read through the entire run of QUASAR, in preparation for writing AVENGERS INFINITY.

Seeing that page, nearly four years after Mark's death, was a sobering moment. It was like getting a wave hello from an old friend, across time.

It's still hard to believe that he's been gone over sixteen years. I miss him still.
