I'm not an audiophile, I just want headphones that are comfortable and easily portable. I do most of my music listening while commuting to and from work. Through the years I've found that Magnavox Foldable Headphones, model MHL1600, have best suited my needs. Unfortunately, I can no longer find them anywhere and they're not indicated on the Magnavox website, leading me to believe they're been discontinued.

Does anyone have any ideas where I can try to find them, or recommend a similar product? Fortunately, the need is not urgent because I bought a few as backups, but now I'm down to one backup, in addition to the pair I'm currently using.

Thanks for your help!

What's your playback device? Might be a good time for a bluetooth upgrade.

I got something like this for my wife recently and they sound surprisingly good for how inexpensive they were. They fold, and can be used with a wire when the battery is dead.

My favorite Sony headphones went oop a few years ago and I was bummed. Loved them at the gym with my IPOD. But I've discovered JBL Reflect mini-in in ear buds that are damn good and priced well.

Would these be the ones you used?
If so, I may need to try those JBLs. I loved these and haven't found a satisfactory replacement.

Here's my personal choice, the Aftershokz Bluez 2S.

They use bone conduction and don't cover the ear so you can still hear your surroundings. I have conductive hearing loss in both ears and am profoundly deaf in my left ear, but these bypass the damage to my middle ears and transmit the sound directly to my working inner ears. Earmuffs would cause feedback in the hearing aid in my right ear, while earbuds would make me take the hearing aid out. Neither type would do much for my left ear, which has a magnetically-attached bone anchored hearing aid. These headphones let me hear music in stereo for the first time in close to 20 years.

Early models of bone conduction headphones had issues with sound bleed, meaning that everyone around you could hear what you were listening to, but this model added active noise cancelling - the transducers still vibrate your jawbone, but the noise cancellation means they're comparable to earbuds for those around you.

Dean, I can't tell you how many pairs of Fontopias I went through in the 90s. I'd put them in sideways and get a great seal for extra bass. The only thing that compared was the Skullcandy FMJ.
