there is a quite lengthy expanded version of sting's 'the soul cages' up on spotify, from what i have gathered it will be a digital release only, no CD. and there may be others to come.

I don't have a problem with a digital release as long as I can get it in lossless. If it's only MP3, then it doesn't exist to me. (Love DanO's choice of words!) This one is available on Qobuz in some lossless formats.

Not bad... missing a few live b-sides, but it does include the nice version of "Come Down In Time" from the Two Rooms tribute album to Elton John and Bernie Taupin.

If any record company people read this, I am one of what I am sure would be many customers who would purchase multi CD deluxe editions of Sting's first four studio albums. Disappointed and surprised that this isn't getting a compact disc release.

Sting's studio work sounded so good that I wouldn't complain about high-res versions on Blu-ray's either....although that is probably too much of a niche market.

back when sting was still sting.....i'd get all 4, maybe even 5 or 6, too.
