The list is out:

As always, pay attention to which releases are RSD exclusive and RSD first - a lot of these will hit general release later.

Definitely on board for the Miles, Mingus, and Motörhead vault vinyls. The Miles set is where the live cuts from his Decoy LP were recorded. I've never heard the complete live set—and it isn't on youtube—so really looking forward to that release.

I was excited to see that Miles release as well, but even more excited that it's a prelude to a new Miles Bootleg volume coming later in the year on CD. If I miss out on the LP I won't be too upset.
From the announcement: "(CD will be part of the next edition of the Miles Davis Bootleg Series, focusing on the 1981-1985 period, later in the year.)" That should be wonderful.

I love all those Miles bootleg series releases, though they have so far avoided a release for the years 1971–75 (though some cuts from these years are on the Newport set).

Bummed that Jim Carroll's Catholic Boy isn't on the list. It was originally scheduled for November's RSD, but supposedly postponed until April.

Catholic Boy is listed on the RSD Canada site:
https://recordstoredaycanada.ca/blog/en ... ges&y=2022

(Obviously doesn't mean it's accurate.)

Thank you. That gives me (tentative) hope.

I'm heading to the nearest city in a few minutes to check out the wares, though there's not much I am interested in getting this go-round. It's more of an excuse to go music shopping.

I got the two Bowie EPs on CD, Pete Townshend, Rory Gallagher, the Knack, and Joss Stone. I looked at but ultimately passed on Elton John, Doctor Who, Sheena Easton, and the Night Ranger 7”. I found the Kirk Hammett vinyl, but I want the CD, so I passed.

I picked up the other Bowie CD as well, but didn't realize it is an RSD release. I just thought it was one I missed in the plethora of Bowie releases over the past few years.

I don't visit stores on RSD but I did order the two titles from America.
