Once again, the Jim Carroll Band's "Catholic Boy (Deluxe)" is being promised. Hope it comes out this time! Though I think previously there was a CD version promised which is not here this time. https://recordstoreday.com/SpecialRelease/15464 Also, would love to get the CD of Ringo's "Old Wave" but they're only pressing 500! Just back from RSD Black Friday. Scored five of seven things I wanted: Jaco Pastorius 3LP live set; Motorhead 2LP live set; Tony Williams Play or Die LP; Cheech and Chong Christmas 7" 45; Bowie/Bing Christmas 12" 45. Missed on the Oscar Peterson Trio live 2LP set and Tower of Power 40th Anniversary live 2LP set. Got there early and was second in line. Waiting time flew by chatting with others in line. All in all a fine day.

Couldn't find the Vintage Trouble, which was the only thing I really wanted, so I’ll be trying online for that. I did cave and buy the Doors LP, but I didn’t see anything else that really tempted me.

I went for the Fleetwood Mac Alternate set and the Eric Burdon/War set. All vinyl. Ordered from home. I don't get up early or fight crowds.

My wife and one of my daughters headed to the big city today and returned with the Alternate Fleetwood Mac CD box set for me. Looks great!
