My 20 year old bootleg always sounded fine so it will be interesting if this is a major improvement (probably not).
I still have my 1975 vinyl but I've wanted this on CD for 40 years, and I don't do bootlegs, so I am definitely getting this.
This one was an exception, I don’t have many boots either (some Pink Floyd in DTS Surround) but way way back in the day, back when ICE magazine existed, way back when we had ICEers, this was heavily discussed.
Some very nice person, can’t remember who sent me an excellent copy with the artwork and it sounded fine.
For years it was the only way, back when collecting was fun!

If you're not nice
I see that John started drinking early today.
It's a very safe bet that Rhino's official "sourced from the hi-res digital files for its CD release" will surpass the audio quality of any needledrop bootleg.

Awesome news...will be great to finally have in CD form...and as per usual Rhino gave us a little present by making the LP and CD with the Polydor homage red label...

The scuttlebutt on the Buckingham Nicks CD bootleg is that it's sourced from producer Keith Olsen's master tape, not a needledrop. (Some even claim he was involved in the release, saying it's "semi official".) I don't believe it.

John,
I think it was Grant. Also had the single version of Crying in the Night.

Yes Jay, I think you are right. Grant is used to love to make CDRs and one of them was this one. He also sent me a Chicago greatest hits.

Been reading for years everywhere how people said it was criminal to not have put it out for decades.
So, my question is: what makes this disc so special? Is it unique from what they did with FM or or a preview of what was to come between these two?
Big preview of what was to come, the mega band known as Fleetwood Mac, an absolute monster. It’s not particularly that great but that chemistry between the two lovers is there.
