What did you think of the Thunderbolts series when it first came out?

Do you think its a viable story considering the characters involved? Can villains like Moonstone, Zemo and Goliath be redeemed? They did some really bad stuff back in the day....

Personally i enjoyed it but felt it robbed the Marvel U of some cool villains...

I thought Kurt's and Mark's work on THUNDERBOLTS was sweet.

Which is why I didn't hesitate for a moment when I was asked to co-plot a couple of issues and write a major Flashback scene.
