It doesn't include "Fabric Of My Life," the song Zooey did for the Cotton Growers? Kind of a shame. It was a cool song, even if it was an ad.

I love Zooey Deschanel (if you haven't seen it, "Eulogy" is a very funny, black comedy). At first blush, I wasn't sure about "Volume One", but it quickly grew on me. There are one or two minutes where it seems her voice is straining, but by and large, it's very good. I'm in for number two, and I agree with Hank - I'm listening to "Fabric" for the first time as I type this, and I already wish it was going to be on the CD.

I love Zooey, too! Volume One was my favorite album of '08, so I have high hopes for the new disc. I've also ordered the single for the non-album b-side.

Wow.

Volume 2 is killer, IMO.

It doesn't happen often but occasionally quality music prevails on the charts.

I agree rrbbkkj -- it doesn't happen often enough, but every now and again when it does happen, it give me faith in the music-buying/listening population!!!

I bought the album on the strength of this commercial alone. I've been seeing it run during Project Runway for months and have been enchanted by it. Saw the album on the counter at the record store and picked it up.
