The Like have announced plans to record a second album.

The all-girl Los Angeles trio plan to record the follow-up to 2005's 'Are You Thinking What I'm Thinking?' in England or Spain this autumn with producer Youth, frontwoman Z Berg told NME.COM.

The band are aiming for an early 2008 release.

Possible song titles include 'Vera', 'I Can See It In Your Eyes', 'Hazy Shade Of Hate', 'I Thought It Would Be Mine', '(Before I Break Your Heart) Release Me' and 'That One Millionth Part'.

The Like have announced details of their forthcoming new album, as well as a UK tour and new single this May.

The Los Angeles band release new album 'Release Me' this summer, preceded by a new single called 'He's Not A Boy' on May 31. Much of the album was produced by Mark Ronson.

The Like are also set to play a series of London shows, kicking off on April 30 with a Club NME gig at London's KOKO venue. They also play Camden Crawl on May 1, and an instore at the capital's Pure Groove record shop on May 4.

I have not heard this band, but I dig the name.

This band is supremely awful. They opened for Arctic Monkeys and it was absolute torture. Me no like The Like.

I personally "liked" the Like first CD. Never seen them live show but I played their initial release often upon it's release.
And now with Mark Ronson involvement, I have interest in this release even more so. Would have been interested to know what happen with the Youth productions.

Can't believe it's been five years, though.
