Ok, it's with quite some excitement and more than a little trepidation, I'm going to attempt to post some of my scribbles here at Imwan. I got to borrow a scanner for the first time today, so it's all new to me. Finally, 1982 has arrived in my house!!!

This is from a series I did for a friends RPG. I sometimes like to redraw old drawings, so sometime last year I redid this one. Looks like he's out of luck :)

Here's another robot, again, from my friends RPG. It looks a bit odd, I don't think my underdrawing is too good, but I still kinda like it

Here's a slightly embarrasing one. I got far too much into the inking techniques I was trying, and didn't notice how TINY I'd made her head or how enormous I'd made her boobs till I'd finished it. We live and learn!

The neck and shoulders stick out to me as awkward on that one, but the concept is cool. Does your drawing predate the Terminator TV series advertised with the Summer Glau half-built image?

It's a roboape.

I have no idea why. Again, I wanted to experiment with a particular inking idea, and the monkey just popped into my brain.

Thanks Jeff. I don't think so. I started it late in 09, so if it wasn't that, it might have been the borg queen. Definately not original :)

Here's a rescan of the piccy I put in Monk's thread. It's my character "J" from a friends game of Castle Falkenstein. He's called J as that's the initial on the mail sack he was found in as a baby.

This is the despicable Lady Sealey. To the left is Tick Tock Tommy, her clockwork bodyguard, to the right CT'tarlghu, Martian Ambassador and all round shady character.

It's a bit rough, but I liked the designs.

I'd love to scan some of my pencils in, but I really can't seen to get a good scan at all. I tend to use a pretty light pencil, 2H. Any tips?

Oh, and I'm not precious about these things. If anyone wants to muck around with them, colour them, print them out for their own amusement, I'm totally happy with that.

Ok, having a first go at scanning my pencils with a little help from my house mate... This is the cover for my completed-before-i-die-i-promise-no-really-i-do comic. The character is called Maya, the comic is provisionally called Aztech.

OK, last one for tonight, I finished this a couple of days ago, and which I shall entitle (In Imwan's honour) "Because fishmen matter" :)

Thanks Jeff and Judge! I don't think I have the aptitude sadly, and I can't draw superheroes to save my life. I'm very fond of fantasy and steampunk stuff, so maybe I'll do something... I'm the wrong side of 40 though, so a bit late in the game now. There's just an unbelievable amount to learn as far as storytelling goes, and my technique and basic drawing skills are too weak really, and I envy folk who can cartoon properly.

My pencil scans above are a bit hit and miss - The Fishmans' still very grubby. Hopefully I'll get a better balance. I have a whole bunch of stuff I did for a friends' Warhammer 40k scenario, so I'll see if I can borrow those back (funny part of that is I know NOTHING about 40k beyond what he told me and some basic reference!). There all pencils too I think. He got in the final three of a Games Workshop competition last year, and my drawings were used in that. As close to fame as I've ever gotten :)

Wow, who knew? You're a fantastic artist!

You should PM Eric to a story in the next Pitched (Pitched 3). Through the magic of technology, it's no big deal for someone on the wrong side of the Atlantic to collaborate on a comic story.
