She's in the process of becoming a goat, obv. One of the Psycho-Man's tricks.

Maybe her leg is broken that is why Cap has to grab her. Seriously though you see that kind of extreme exaggeration quite a bit in comics. Gil Kane really comes to mind when I see a leg like that and I love me some Gil Kane.

Not to rain on the parade but that big blob of white below PM's waist is damned distracting to me. Your eye is naturally drawn to white. Not your fault, of course; that's the way it's drawn.

But I would grey it up. Perhaps run a gradation from dark to light going up. Different color than the machinery obviously. But I don't think it getting lost back there would necessarily be a bad thing since it's rising up out of the floor. You'd have to experiment.

But I could be full of beans so don't mind me. :|

On the other hand, I wish more people would point out things like this in my own work.

The Avengers cover is fantastic! Toning the white down as Rick offered might not be bad. But I really like what you did with it overall.

Yeah, I think your criticism is valid, but I decided not to use any grads on the piece to give it more of a 70's feel. The more I color Byrne, especially on these retro pieces, I'm starting to think cel style coloring is the place I want to be. Of course there's always exceptions.

It looks great, Derek. Your coloring improves that piece by 1000%.
