Still plugging away, although I'm mortified with my skill level.

That looks real good to me. Love the guy with the ball. You seem to have an ease with positioning. I would've worked on that for hours and then finally given up and had the wife take a picture. I'm really looking forward to it finished. And I'm going to bitch at you if you don't.

Drawing is stressful and brutal hard. You can never get it right, you can only move on to the next panel and try for better results. That's how it feels for me, anyway. Yeah, that's what I say about drawing comics. It's really hard for me. Frustrating. A page a day? For me a panel a day is good.

I think I could do 5-6 pages a week at this quality, but only if I put in eight-hour days at the drawing board.

Yeah, I don't know how guys ink a page a day. I'm like you, Rick. If I get a panel or two a day inked, I'm good. But I've never had the opportunity to sit down and try for 8 or 10 hours to ink a page. My day job get's in the way of that...

If all goes well, Marcus is taking over the art on this and we are going back to the daily & Sunday strip format.
This (and the Johnny Impossible project) slowdown is all on me. After Rita died, I lost a lot of joy and will. Honestly, I just started creative writing again last week.
Because I believe I've lost the benefit of the doubt as far as writing commitment goes in the last 10 months, I've decided to get the complete script for the whole story done and sent to Marcus with his first art payment so he doesn't have to wait on me for anything (except to find a letterer and Sunday colourist).

Sounds good to me! I can't wait!
