Which cartoon villain did he do the voice for? It may have been Penelope Pitstop's nemesis. Or if not himmm, sooding an impersonation of him, like someone doing Phil Silvers for Top Cat

I've been at Paul Lynde's grave.Coins were placed all over the gravestone. Why? I think Uncle Arthur has made it to the afterlife by now.

As you read, it was he. He also provided the voice of Mildew Wolf in "It's the Wolf!"

Skipped around and watched about 10 minutes total of that Paul Lynde Halloween special.

Slow day obviously but a couple observations:

*All those variety specials back then were very cheesy but for some reason, Lynde kind of knew how to make it work with his personality.

*Whoever put the special together, gotta give them creative points for mixing Oz's Margaret Hamilton with Witchypoo. Out of the box thinking there.

* Margaret Hamilton never looked attractive a day in her life.

* KISS fit right in there, even with the lip synching.

* Florence Henderson just kept getting more and more attractive with age into the 1990's, incredibly hot older woman. and evidently was quite the party girl back in the day.

* I've seen more Paul Lynde today than I have since the '70's. Boy, he really was perfect for that decade. H squares, Match Game, you name it.

Agent: Great news! They want you for the Wizard of Oz!

MH: Great! Which part?

A: The wicked witch!

And then she says, to make it worse he asked:

A: What else?

The worst bit is Lynde disco dancing with Pinky Tuscadero.
