Man, I should hire you to design the cover to my comic, given the cover art. What are your rates?

I don't know what my rates are, I've never been paid to do this. :D

Shock Waves is a favorite. Love that movie.

If you want to get The Other, do so quickly. That's a Twilight Time limited edition. When they sell out, prices on the second hand market can get a little nuts. It's cheaper to order direct:

If you get it, and want a printable version of one of my covers, let me know.

Yeah, I know about the Twilight Time thing. I've lived through both the Christine Incident and the Fright Night Incident on the message boards. The wailing and gnashing of teeth over TT's chosen strategy.

I just get the ones I want and live with it. They price them a little high. I day one bought Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, and Major Dundee, but other than that I've tended to steer clear.

Some of the best comic book covers (or at least the ones I like) incorporate the cover art into something weird and stylized. I like that.

You know what, Ron? You're IMWAN's #1 Custom DVD Cover Artist. To heck with those other guys.

I wanted to award you with the Official IMWAN Running Home to Mommy Trophy. Enjoy.

Thanks Judge. It's just a friendly competition between cover guys, so I have no problem getting my butt handed to me. If you want to see the entries:

I voted for entry 1, winner was entry 5.

I think this is my 65th, 66th and 67th different cover for this movie, but I'm not sure...

Big thanks to Dean Ormston for allowing me to use his artwork from Little Shoppe of Horrors magazine for the front cover.

Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery to Dean who recently suffered a brain aneurysm, which has delayed the release of his new comic from Dark Horse, The Black Hammer (which looks fantastic, BTW.) He's home and on the mend and starting to draw again.
