This idea came about in a strange way: I'm just starting the Neil Young blu-ray of Rust Never Sleeps.
The film starts with (I suspect Neil playing) Hendrix's Star Spangled Banner, then Segues into the Beatles A Day In The Life (Weird way for the fab 4 to FINALLY get officially released in 192/24..........)
I realized while in most cases I prefer earlier pre LSD Beatles to post LSD Beatles (though I would say I like 90% of all their music not counting the Sheridan recordings) my #1 fav Fab 4 song is.................................
A Day In The Life.
