Picked up the Masterworks about two years ago. Nice collection.

Marvel was really fired up about super teams in the 1970's. Defenders and Champions created around the same time.

Decent amount of Bronze-Age team books:
Defenders (1971)
New X-Men (1975)
Invaders (1975)
Champions (1975)
Power Man and Iron Fist (1978)
Alpha Flight (1979, but no book until 1982)
New Mutants (1982)
Power Pack (1984)

Did I miss any?

If you're going as low as Power Man and Iron Fist, how about Cloak and Dagger? and Daughters of the Dragon?

Others that come to mind as possible qualifiers:

Guardians of the Galaxy
Micronauts

Dang it! I was thinking Micronauts when I started looking up intro dates, then forgot them again.

Sons of the Tiger (1974)
Daughters of the Dragon (1977)
Micronauts (1979)
Cloak & Dagger (earlier appearance, but mini-series in 1983)

I thought about Guardians, too, but they were from 1969.

Sorry to steal the thread, Uncle Rog.

BUY MORE ROGER STERN BOOKS, People!

I recently picked up the HB of Marvel's EYE OF THE CAMERA. I got Marvels when it came
out, but I wasn't buying comics when these came out. I've yet to read the story, though.

This is missing the big fight with Godzilla where Hercules accidentally destroys the Helicarrier.

Yeah, that's a shame that Marvel couldn't have put up a little cash for a temporary licensing deal.

Those were some good times to be alive. And the Godzilla cartoon on Saturday mornings was right about then.

I was one heartbroken nine-year-old when Marvel cancelled Godzilla. :(

It was Godzooky I felt sorry for. Godzilla was always going to have a comeback...poor Godzooky has never worked again. :ohno:
