That part made me hesitate. Kimmel is totally inappropriate for this. It's reminiscent of when CBS had Ray Romano host the

I agree. However, my brother and I used to stay up past SNL to watch the far funnier SCTV. It's a shame the great John Candy isnt around for this. Or Harold Ramis for that matter.

It's from the Lorne Michaels' produced The New Show, a sketch comedy series that only lasted 9 episodes in 1984. Many of the people who passed through SNL in previous years were on the show.
