The only positive I take from this is that it means someone in Rhino knows Rod exists.

None of these are remastered from what I read.

i have every one of these albums, some advice.....buy a 'best of' and be done with it.

There is so much more that could be done with these albums. I'm sure our friend rs4951 would agree.

I've got "Atlantic Crossing" through "Blondes Have More Fun". I gave up on Rod after that. I would have considered buying this if there had been some bonus tracks.

I'm more of a "hits only" guy when it comes to Rod, but $80 for 14 discs is a really good price.

For that four album run you mention two did come out with bonus tracks in 2009 and two were meant to but have not yet...


Indeed...I could write a book on the topic and bore you to tears...and I remain puzzled by artists who sold a lot less than Rod having better catalogue releases.

It has probably been said before, but for those who have hits comps and want to dig deeper without paying out for the big set, The Triple Album collection and the Original album series capture seven of the 14 albums plus the ballad collection. The former set is a fav containing Out of Order and A Spanner in the works, his two of his best ...imo

You're right. And I think that I have those. (It's been a while since I played them).
