A week away. Anyone seeing something they can't live without? I'm on for the Motorhead and Hendrix LPs, as well as the Charlie Parker vinyl box.

I'd like to get the Charlie Parker on CD, not vinyl, as well as the CD of "Electrif Lycanthrope: Live at Ultra-Sonic Studios, 1974" by Little Feat. But I very rarely find the RSD CDs around here.

The one I was most excited about, Jim Carroll's Catholic Boy, has been postponed. Only one on list now that I want is that Dusty collection. The CD is phenomenal and would love to have it on vinyl.

I hadn't noticed the original listing for the deluxe Catholic Boy, I definitely would've gone for it. Sounds interesting. I hope it does get released at some point. I am surprised Fat Possum has the rights to it now.

Apparently pulled due to pressing plant delays, and postponed until RSD next April

Went Christmas shopping today with my wife in the nearest city (Ottawa) and stopped in three record stores, pickings were very slim with only about 12-15 LPs in the first 2 stores I checked, but lucked out and found both CDs I was looking for. Best RSD luck I've had in years!

Did anyone else go RSD hunting over the last two days?

This year's Black Friday RSD list was meh, but that Little Feat is absolutely essential. Bought the vinyl and CD.

No, it's an RSD exclusive.

A couple years ago I bought a Todd Rundgren RSD CD that was supposed to be exclusive but did go into general release so I was hoping.............

Hey, never say never! But it is advertised as an exclusive. I honestly never mind when something goes into general retail even though it is supposed to be "rare". I figure the music is to be heard, not hoarded. And if some more money can be made (and hopefully some gets to the artists!), I am all for it.
