Text-to-AI imaging is a type of artificial intelligence (AI) technology that uses natural language processing (NLP)
to generate a graphical image based on an input text description. This type of AI technology is used to generate
images from text descriptions, allowing users to create photorealistic images from text descriptions without the
need for manual design or illustration. Text-to-AI imaging is used in many fields, such as computer vision, medical
imaging, and image recognition.

"The Missing Moments of Shirley Temple" were created because when I was putting various iterations of the free
online AI software, Stable Diffusion, to the test, I started typing in the most ridiculous strings of text descriptions
that I could think of. And, cute, innocent Shirley Temple setting fires to hospitals, etc. seemed a natural test case.

I soon became enamored with the graphic adventures generated for Ms. Temple, which prompted me to write more.
Often times, the AI then would then generate something non-sensible, but I would roll with it and generate some
new text that better explained where we actually arrived. Sometimes I'd have the AI try the same text phrase several
times until I got a result that I liked. And sometimes, rarely, I would tweak the results a little manually. This was
mainly because the AI might draw in an extra finger or leg or two, which would ruin an otherwise gem of an image.
And some things, like a model rocket, I just wasn't able to describe adequately so the AI could draw it. So, I'd take
a few seconds to slap some rocket fins or other missing detail in there with a pencil brush.

So anyway…

Despite adequate funding, production stopped after one day of shooting. The dog "Sandy" did not survive.
