new album september 8, but i cannot find anything anywhere on the internet to buy it. there are a couple of mp3 on amazon, but no mention of the album....

You can buy direct from his website for a mere $50 (personalized!) for a 5 track CD. There's a LOT more room for more tracks on there.
Just saying..

So far it's digital-only except for that personalised CD (CD-R?) on his own website, so I've moved the thread to Collector's Corner.

but only the 5 song EP and some coasters for $50..........no full length CD for sale yet, anywhere that i can find.

i did that, but the answer i got was very vague, they told me i could buy the EP, but made no mention of the full length CD. and i specifically asked about the 'full length" CD.

i don't know, the dumbing down of america, i guess.

could they really charge that much for a CDR?

but, i never thought of that.......maybe i will ask before i buy.

i did ask jim messina's site if the "mojito moon" EP was a CDR or a silver CD and they quickly replied that it was silver.

i never received a reply about my CDR question, so i will "assume' that linda may have been correct about it being so..

and they still have not listed for sale on amazon, but they have put it on spotify.

if you like this kind of vocal jazzy/rock stuff, i highly recommend it, actually i highly recommend the entire cincotti catalog.

well, yes and no.

his first 3:

east of angel town - far and away his best (IMHO) and most easily obtained for a very low price.

are out there, all over ebay and the used stores and the cut out bins.

his fourth 'metropolis' - is not in the stores at all, but can be gotten on ebay for a decent price

#5 'long way form home' - for some reason was never released on CD in the united states, i got mine on the internet form italy, not cheap, but not outrageous either.(around $20 shipped)

#6 'killer on the keys' is a conundrum. you can buy it through talk shop for a ridiculous price of $17 + $8 shipping + tax (it is signed) or get it on spotify, or wait (like i am) to see what shakes out with it retail wise.

if you really like this stuff cincotti has it down pretty well, and the guy can certainly play the piano. i just think he needs a push from somewhere, and his present management just is not doing it for him, but maybe he just likes the new york scene and doesn't really want to move on.......
