Eric Idle and John Cleese have both promoted this as well, but I don't believe either is actually involved in the project.

Yeah, but does Graham Chapman step up and take part? No.

Here's the 1979 debate between Cleese and Palin and two religious chaps over whether or not Life Of Brian is blasphemous.

One of the only times on camera EVER where Palin loses his temper.

I bought one of the Tshirts for the fundraiser for the Terry Jones statue after I heard Eric Idle on Conan O’Brien’s podcast.

If you have Turner Classic Movies on your television provider, Black Friday is also Monty Python night.

Starting at 8:00 PM Eastern:

8:00 PM - Monty Python And The Holy Grail (1975)
9:45 PM - Monty Python Live At The Hollywood Bowl (1982)
11:15 PM - Monty Python's Life Of Brian (1979)
1:00 AM - Monty Python: The Meaning Of Live (2015)
2:45 AM - The Meaning Of Monty Python (2013)
4:30 AM - Monty Python's Flying Circus: Live At Aspen (1998)

Nine hours of Python over 9.5 hours - 4:00-4:30 AM is a 1965 short called Wonderful World Of Tupperware, which features Anita Bryant.

Does TCM edit for television? No Chapman wang in Life of Brian in that case.

Yeah, TCM doesn't edit out nudity in, well, quite a few movies I've seen there. It might on some, but if so, you couldn't tell it by me.

Was it on TCM I recently noticed a string of Monty Python specials coming up this week? I thought it was the movies, and maybe some are, but they had The Live of Brian, I think, instead of The Life of Brian - so it's some Python special, maybe? I thought it was just a mistake, but I'm not sure. The Live makes no sense, regardless.

Well, I set the DVR to record the lot, whatever channel they were on, so I'll see what they are later.

Three Men in a Boat - starring Michael Palin, Tim Curry & Stephen Moore (1975)

"A glorious adaptation of the classic novel, describing a two-week boating holiday on the Thames from Kingston upon Thames to Oxford. The film is narrated in first-person by Tim Curry playing Jerome. Although the film follows the book's plot faithfully, it ends with an epilogue about the real-world events that shaped it".

Terry Jones hosted a show on Charlie Chaplin. Nothing new here, but it's fun hearing one comedy legend talking about another comedy legend.

He's just being difficult, as Eric Idle would say.
