She played a big role in the finale of Fallout. She had remarried to Wes Bentley and they were off doing a Doctors Without Borders type thing and she assured Ethan that she was happy and wanted him to be too.

Right, I remember that, I just thought maybe she was blown up at the end. No sign of her since then? Technically he's still married.

Oh. No, that was her last appearance. She got a happy ending.

And I watched the whole thing play out with no idea who she was, until a day or so ago when I watched that youtube recap video of all the movies. And I had watched them all, in order
The stories - including the characters - are really not memorable to me, it seems. But it's still an amazing series of movies.

I remember the buzz when M:III came out so soon after he's married Katie Holmes in real life and was also married to a Katie Holmes doppleganger in the movie as well.

By contrast, I am very invested in the continuing narrative that threads through all the Mission Impossibles. So much so that I get mad when it takes too long for the next movie to come out.
