One of the antidotes is for Batman's anesthetic "Bat Gas." He and Robin just THOUGHT she was unconscious when they took her to the Batcave. She figured out pretty quickly that it must be under Wayne Manor. The joke was on them!

Thank you.
He does that modern cartoony thing (don't know if it even has a name), but he does it exceedingly well, and there's style and history behind it, which is refreshing. His own creations look good, and his takes on many existing characters are nice too.
"Why isn't he being hired by DC and Marvel?" is probably a rhetorical question. I wish him success.

I think he's the child of Dave Mazzuchelli's influence from Alex Toth, Roy Crane, Noel Sickles, etc. The art from Batman Year One casts a very long shadow, it seems to be one of the most influential works to artists of my generation (and a bit younger) not only because of the work within, but because it turned a whole generation of people onto Alex Toth and all the rest. EDIT: Oh yeah, and Jaime Hernandez from Love & Rockets -- he's probably a bigger reason than Mazz for the Toth style gaining prominence, come to think of it. DC and Marvel actually are hiring artists in this style -- Chris Samnee, David Aja, Leonardo Romero, Marcos Martin, Javier Pulido, etc. But they definitely aren't the "house style" or face of the company. (And I suppose you could put older guys like Bruce Timm, Darwyn Cooke, Mike Allred and Steve Rude in this category.) Back to Villiger, he's having some success doing a comic feature for King Features' Comics Kingdom called Mara Llave, Keeper of Time (though I can't seem to get it to come up on their site, despite being a member) --
