Given that she was spanked by Superman, she's lucky she wasn't seriously injured....

Finally got the movie Supermen. Wish Todd would make a George Reeves but I know that's not gonna happen, unfortunately.

I know we haven't seen Corenswet in the movie yet, but just based on physical appearance alone, which of the 21st century Superman actors do you think most represents how you envision Superman IRL?

Hey, they're doing a Treasury Edition for the new Superman movie! The Dan Jurgens variant looks like the one to get.

I guess this is cheating, but for me, it's

a) Cavill's face and physique,

b) in Routh's suit, but with the "S" bigger, and

c) with Corenswet's spit-curl.

If I'm not allowed to combine different elements and have to choose one performer as is, then I would go with Routh.

Wow, Routh! Interesting choice, I wasn't expecting that.

Huh? Why are you posting a photo of Clark Kent? What's he got to do with SUPERMAN?

It's the suit, really. Give Cavill a brighter costume and trunks (although I can live without those if his suit were lighter) and he's the perfect looking Superman.

Routh's suit is still more muted than Christopher Reeve's, but it's a lot more pleasing to look at for me than Cavill's, which just looks depressing.

I'm not a fan of the Routh suit, but who knew at the time that it would end up being the best live-action Superman costume of the 21st century.

Or maybe this one is.

I watched a few episodes of the Gerard Christopher show the other night and for my taste, that Salkind era spandex suit is perfect as long as you have the right dude wearing it.

If that suit had the "high waist" style briefs along with this brighter color scheme it would have been really nice (I think someone else here, on IMWAN, had photoshopped a version like that back in the Superman Returns thread). Unfortunately they went with the dark maroon and the speedo.

I was curious to see if anyone was playing around with "fixing" the new Corenswet costume and stumbled across this fake set leak photo from back when it was supposed to be called "Superman: Legacy". Too bad they didn't use this, I'd have been really happy with it.

Wait until he takes out his contact lenses. Your mind is going to be blown by what is revealed.
