That July 2026 date even appears to be correct! There are nine issues listed at the Twomorrows site that haven't been published yet, and the Colan issue is the last one..

Me either! Nothing about that picture says John Buscema to me.

It looks like Buscema must have done a quick rough and the inker did the bulk of the work, because even with a heavy hand you should be able to see John's figure work in there somewhere, and I don't, at all.

The inker is Willie Blyberg. The picture is from an early issue of the Comics Journal.

I never would have guessed that was Big John.

Me either! Nothing about that picture says John Buscema to me.

The figures are very stiff, especially Adam Strange. The perspective used also doesn't look like one Buscema would use.

Looking again, the planets in the sky do look like Buscema - but nothing else does. If I'd been asked, I might have guessed Jackson Guice.

Curt Swan started out doing Kirby swipes? Who would've thought.

Very reminiscent of early 20th-century illustrator Coles Phillips' "Fadeaway Girl" illustrations:

I've even seen an example where the "Fadeway Girl" is entangled in a (symbolic) spider web.
