Description
WINGS  is the ultimate anthology of the band that defined the sound of the 1970s.

A lovingly curated time capsule of imagery and music personally overseen by Paul McCartney, WINGS  includes 32 timeless international hits including 'Band on the Run', 'Live and Let Die', ‘Jet' and 'Let ‘Em In' - songs that still feature in his live shows to this day.

The Blu-ray collection features Dolby Atmos and 5.1 mixes by Giles Martin and Steve Orchard and 24 bit 96kHz stereo mixes and was designed by Paul and Aubrey 'Po' Powell of Hipgnosis.

The booklet includes an introduction by Paul and showcases original portraits of the band by Humphrey Ocean.

My understanding is the Blu Ray will be exclusive to a couple of sites, one being McCartney's. Looking forward to this release.

I do wish they'd included more than the one track where Paul doesn't sing lead, but...

I recently 'created' my own imaginary Wings' compilation, basically a double album version of their old 'Wings Greatest' collection.

One of my 'bugs' with Wings was some of their songs sounded much better live, so one vinyl side of my collection would be live recordings (mostly from 'Wings Over America')...
