My oldest brother (no longer with us), grew up with a fascination for the Universal Monsters and old Hammer/horror flicks.
He was not much into comics, and rarely ever bought any. He picked up an occasional DC Horror book, even a Haunted
Romance one, I recall. One day I found he had left this one on the floor of the boys' bedroom. It was the first time I saw
a comic book penciled by Mike Ploog:

Not too long after that, I found (and bought) a roughly-treated copy of Werewolf by Night #1 at a school book sale for 10¢.
I really was enjoying his art by then. My sister also had bought some early issues of Ghost Rider. It's all great stuff. Those,
along with the Man-Thing, would make for a very compelling Monsterbus collection.
